CONFIRMED
Meta announced a new Ray-Ban Meta glasses lineup on September 23, 2026. It introduced Ray-Ban Meta Audio without a camera and Ray-Ban Meta Gen3 with improved battery life, audio and image capture. The move expands wearable computing without presenting the glasses as smartphone replacements.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio weighs 43 grams, offers up to 12 hours of battery life and starts at US$349. Shipping begins October 13. Its camera-free design positions it as a simpler option for listening, calls and voice interaction, with fewer concerns in privacy-sensitive environments.
Ray-Ban Meta Gen3 offers up to 9 hours, six microphones with more than 90% noise reduction and a 12MP camera capable of 3K recording. It starts at US$449. Meta says the lineup will exceed 100 options by year end, while Meta Glasses and a future Brazil launch broaden the ambition.
The strategic point is the connection with the Muse personal agent. This is a product direction, not proof of mass adoption. Availability, response quality, privacy and Brazilian service integrations will matter more than a stage demo.
For Brazilian small and medium businesses, the immediate impact is operational: hands-free capture, calls and voice assistance for sales, events, field service and content teams. Exchange rates, imports, support and Muse availability still make mandatory adoption premature.
